Program description: Digital painting is a rapidly emerging field in the modern art world. In addition to providing a fun, mess free, and compact alternative to traditional painting media, learning digital painting can lead to a variety of career paths, including design for films, video games, and graphic novels. I offer workshops and/or presentations on creating digital paintings through Adobe Photoshop. Using a computer monitor or projector, I demonstrate the process of digital art creation, and provide an opportunity for students and faculty to experiment with using a digital drawing tablet.
Special equipment, space considerations, or geographic limitations: I can travel to schools in Northern, Western, Central, and parts of Southern Vermont. All that I require is an outlet and a table with some space for my equipment and displayed work, as well as a projector if presenting to a large audience.
